Asus reveals price of Intel Core Ultra powered NUC 14 Pro and NUC 14 Pro+ mini PCs
The Asus NUC 14 Pro and NUC 14 Pro+ have finally got their pricing revealed. As per the official listings of the mini PCs, the 14 Pro starts at $394, while the 14 Pro+ starts at $869. While these prices may not seem competitive compared to the Chinese mini PCs (GEEKOM A7 with Ryzen 9 7940HS curr. $764 on Amazon), they are consistent with what Intel used to charge for its NUC systems.
For those wondering, Asus acquired Intel’s NUC brand product line late last year, and the NUC 14 Pro and NUC 14 Pro+ are two of the first new systems to debut under Asus. They are also among the first mini PCs to come with the latest Intel Meteor Lake chipsets.
That said, in case you missed the launch coverage, the NUC 14 Pro is available with Intel Core 3, Intel Core Ultra 5, and Intel Core Ultra 7 processors. The Core Ultra configurations sport the Intel Arc iGPU and Intel AI Boost, making the system powerful enough to handle demanding AI and graphics workloads. You can learn more from the video and spec sheet attached at the end.
Moving the Asus NUC 14 Pro+, it’s a more powerful mini PC out of the two. While the Pro model tops out at Core Ultra 7 165H, the Pro+ is configurable up to Intel Core Ultra 9 185H. Of course, if you want something that’s less powerful, you can configure the system with Core Ultra 7 155H and Core Ultra 5 125H.
The expensive NUC 14 Pro+ also has a better cooling system than the 14 Pro, which features three heat pipes and better ventilation. You can learn more about this mini PC from the spec sheet and video attached below. It’s worth noting that Asus still hasn’t announced when the mini PCs will be available for purchase.
