Gigabyte has now fully detailed the AORUS FO32U2P, one of several OLED gaming monitors revealed last month during CES 2024. The Gigabyte AORUS FO32U2P comes with numerous ports, including a pair of DisplayPort 2.1 connections that support the high-bandwidth UHBR 20 standard.

Gigabyte had a busy CES this year, having presented five AORUS-branded gaming monitors alone. Now, the company has begun to fully detail the likes of the AORUS FO32U2P, which it described last month as the 'world's first DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR 20 OLED gaming monitor'. However, the company remains quiet about the AORUS MO34WQC and AORUS MO34WQC2, the latter of which it intended to launch within Q1 2024.

As for the AORUS FO32U2P, the monitor relies on the same Samsung Display Gen 3 QD-OLED panel as the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM and MSI MPG 321URX QD-OLED, among others. Consequently, the AORUS FO32U2P covers 99% of the DCI-P3 colour space and provides 250 nits typical brightness with a 3,840 x 2,160-pixel native resolution and 240 Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the 10-bit panel is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified, which should ensure at least 400 nits peak brightness when viewing HDR content.

On top of that, Gigabyte has applied an anti-reflective coating, plus 5 W stereo speakers and a stand that supports 130 mm height, -5° ~ ±20° tilt, ±20° swivel and -5° ~ ±90° pivot adjustments. Unfortunately, Gigabyte has not revealed pricing or availability yet, although full product details can be found on the company's website. For reference, the AORUS FO32U2P contains the following ports:

  • 1x 3.5 mm headphone jack
  • 1x 3.5 mm microphone jack
  • 1x DisplayPort (UHBR 20)
  • 1x DisplayPort out
  • 2x HDMI 2.1
  • 1x Mini DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR 20)
  • 1x USB 3.2 Type-A upstream
  • 1x USB 3.2 Type-A downstream
  • 1x USB Type-C (DP Alt Mode/Upstream/65 W Power Delivery)
