Lenovo sub-brand Lecoo launches 4K 160 Hz gaming monitor for ~$220

The N2721U is a new gaming monitor from the Lenovo sub-brand Lecoo. Its launch price in China is CNY 1,599, about $220, which is pretty affordable given the fact that it sports a 4K IPS panel. What's more interesting is that the screen features a refresh rate of 160 Hz.

In the global market, a monitor with those specs would at least cost you around $500 if you're getting it without discounts. Of course, it's not just the resolution and the refresh rate that makes the new Lecoo monitor a good pick for gamers.

As the company states, the Lecoo N2721U gaming monitor has a 1 ms GtG response time, 98% DCI-P3 color gamut, 10-bit color depth, and 400 nits of rated brightness. The panel also comes with AdaptiveSync, which keeps the GPU's frame rate and the screen's refresh rate in sync. This eventually lowers stuttering and tearing.

There is a generous set of connectivity ports too. The monitor has two HDMI 2.1 and one DisplayPort 1.4. It even has a good number of gaming features. That includes crosshair overlay and different game modes. For enhancing productivity, it brings PIP/PBP support. This dual-screen feature allows you to view display outputs from two connected devices at the same time.

The Lenovo sub-brand hasn't revealed details on global pricing and availability yet. However, it seems none of the previous products from Lecoo has officially stepped outside China. So, there's a slim chance that this gaming monitor will land in the international markets.
