AOC announces affordable professional monitor with Quantum Dot IPS panel and Calman Ready hardware calibration
AOC has released the Q27JU3CV, the cheapest of three new Graphic Pro U3 series monitors. While the U27U3CV and U32U3CV fall under the same series as the Q27JU3CV, the latter is the only one of the three that outputs at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. Additionally, the Q27JU3CV is the only member to utilise a Quantum Dot IPS panel compared to Nano IPS for its Graphic Pro U3 series siblings.
Moreover, AOC boasts that it hardware calibrates Q27JU3CV as a 'Calman Ready' monitor, which also allows it to talk directly to Portrait Displays' Calman colour calibration software. Accordingly, the monitor is said to have excellent colour accuracy with 136.9% sRGB, 117.3% Adobe RGB, 119.3% NTSC and 109% DCI-P3 colour space coverages. Furthermore, the Q27JU3CV is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified for 8-bit image quality and 400 nits peak brightness.
On top of that, the monitor has a 75 Hz native refresh rate, as well as 4 ms GtG response times. Meanwhile, the Q27JU3CV also finds itself with the following ports:
- 1x 3.5 mm jack
- 1x DisplayPort 1.4
- 1x DisplayPort 1.2-in
- 1x HDMI 1.4
- 1x RJ45 (1 Gigabit)
- 4x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A (5 Gbps)
- 1x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C (5 Gbps/15 W)
- 1x USB Type-C (USB PD 3.0 - 96 W/DisplayPort Alt Mode)
As such, the Q27JU3CV supports daisy chaining to another monitor with a single DisplayPort cable and serves as USB docking station thanks to its USB 3.2 Type-C port. The Q27JU3CV retails for £289.99 in the UK. Please see AOC's product page for more details.
