MagyarRoborock Q5 Pro robot vacuum cleaner with DuoRoller Brush arrives
Roborock has unveiled the Q5 Pro robot vacuum cleaner series. The device has up to 5,500 Pa suction power and a DuoRoller Brush, which the brand claims can improve the volume of hair picked up by 20%. You can use the gadget to vacuum and mop simultaneously, with a 5,200 mAh battery allowing the robot to run for up to 240 minutes on a single charge.
The four-hour running time makes the Q5 Pro suitable for areas around 350 m² (~3,767 ft²) in size. The robot has an onboard 770 ml dustbin, and the Q5 Pro+ model comes with an auto-emptying docking station. The dock has a larger 2.5L dustbin, which Roborock suggests allows up to seven weeks of hands-free cleaning. The new model uses PreciSense LiDAR navigation to move around your home efficiently, detecting and working in the same direction as any hardwood floors to ensure dirt in the cracks is picked up.
As with many other Roborock vacuum cleaners, you can control the gadgets via the Roborock app or with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant or Apple Siri voice commands. The Roborock Q5 robot vacuum will retail for US$429.99/€349, while the Q5 Pro+ with a self-emptying docking station has an RRP of US$699.99/€549. Both gadgets are expected to launch this October alongside the Roborock Q8 Max series.
