The Hookii Neomow X and Neomow X Pro robot lawn mowers are now crowdfunding at Kickstarter. The gadgets start from US$1,199, with the campaign gathering over 700 backers to date. Features of the front-wheel drive robots include LiDAR navigation, Wi-Fi connectivity and app controls.

Hookii has launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for the Neomow X and Neomow X Pro robot lawn mowers. The Early Bird pledge of US$1,299 gives you a 46% discount on the Neomow X’s US$2,399 RRP. A 47% price cut is offered for the X Pro, reducing your cost from US$2,999 to US$1,599. Hookii expects to ship the gadget this December, delivering to countries like the US, the UK, Australia and the Netherlands.

At the time of writing, the campaign has over 700 backers, raising over HK$8.2 million, far surpassing its target of HK$392,290. As revealed earlier this month, the Neomow X uses LiDAR SLAM technology to navigate your lawn with accurate positioning without the need for a perimeter wire. The front-wheel drive robot can tackle inclines up to 24° (45%), with the standard model suitable for lawns up to 3,000 m² (0.74 acres) and the Pro for 5,000 m² (~1.24 acres) in size.

Other features include Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, with app controls such as adjustable blade height and mowing schedule creation. The Kickstarter campaign for the Hookii Neomow robot lawn mower will end mid-October. Hookii has yet to announce when it hopes the gadget will go on general sale.
