UGREEN has announced that it will demonstrate the Nexode 300W Gallium Nitride Charger at IFA 2023. This is the first 300W multi-port GaN fast charger from the brand, allowing you to charge multiple devices simultaneously. Ports on the charger include one USB-A and four USB-C. When used alone, the USB-A port has a maximum power of 22.5W, while the USB-C ports deliver 140W, 100W, 100W and 45W to connected gadgets.
With all four ports in use, the USB-A maintains its 22.5W, while the USB-C outputs adjust to 140W, 65W, 45W and 20W. The company suggests using the 140W output to charge a MacBook Pro 16 to 56% in 30 minutes. Other features include always-on temperature detection to ensure the device does not overheat. The Nexode 300W 5-Port GaN Fast Charger features a GaNFast III Chip to maximise the charging speeds whilst keeping the gadget relatively compact. UGREEN goes so far as to claim that its new accessory has established a “new industry benchmark for mobile-device quick charging”.
The UGREEN Nexode 300W Gallium Nitride Charger will launch on September 5. It is currently listed for €399 (~US$433) in the EU. However, when the product was announced in June, the company indicated it would retail for US$269.99. You can sign up for the UGREEN mailing list to be notified when the product goes on sale.
