UGREEN combines iPhone-friendly wireless charging and Android-friendly fast wired charging in the same new Nexode-series charger. It has a flip-up 'lid' that allows the user to place their MagSafe-compatible device on it at an angle if necessary, and also boasts dual USB type-C ports rated for a maximum output of 100W each. The new GaN Charging Station is available via retail channels from now.
Most Nexode-series chargers debut as high-wattage, multi-port power bricks; however, the latest addition to this line-up supports 15W MagSafe as well. It is also the first of its name to take on the hinged-lid form-factor that doubles as a multi-angle stand - all just in time for the new iPhone that could leverage that kind of desktop stand functionality.
UGREEN's new GaN Charging Station is somewhat taller than the average 'cube' of its type. with dimensions of 90x60x60mm - then again, it also packs 100W charging, accessible via either of its 2 USB-C ports. They are found next to an "SCP" port rated to charge at up to 22.5W - which is arguably fast for type-A.
The OEM asserts that its new "4-in-1 Pro Charger" is safer and more stable thanks to GaNFast II technology for features such as Thermal Guard real-time temperature detection and a Power Dispenser System to regulate the accessory's output in accordance with each connected device's individual needs.
The Nexode 100W GaN Charging Station is available from now via Amazon as well as through UGREEN itself for US$179.99.
