PopSockets launches AI Customizer with cash-prize giveaway
PopSockets asserts that it has underpinned its position as a leading mobile device accessory brand by being the first of such companies to "offer consumers a direct AI customization experience". It is rated to apply "Endless" imagination to the design on some of the OEM's cases, not to mention its eponymous grips.
The new AI Customizer's users can base their new custom accessory on an uploaded image, employ a range of "guided prompts" or use their own (with results that might vary) on the OEM's website. PopSockets - which has also just released MagSafe-compatible cases for the new iPhone 15 series - has also announced an AI Holiday Giveaway to mark its roll-out.
All US-based creators who purchase their AI-designed accessory from today (November 6, 2023) are entered into the competition automatically. It has kicked off with a "November phase" in which US$50,000 will go to the winning design, with another US$5,000 each for the 4 next best submissions.
PopSockets will also award "up to US$100,000" to those who win the following month, with prizes awarded daily until the contest ends on December 25, 2023.
