The iPhone SE 4 could be a while off yet, but numerous rumours about a fourth-generation model have already surfaced online. Now, high-resolution render images visualise current expectations, including the adoption of modern iPhone features like an Action Button and USB Type-C connectivity.

AppleTrack and @concept_central have partnered to create concept renders of a fourth-generation iPhone SE, commonly referred to as the iPhone SE 4 for now. Recently, MacRumors disclosed various details about how a new iPhone SE could shape up, which Apple may release as simply 'iPhone SE' with retailers distinguishing it as 'iPhone SE 2024' or 'iPhone SE 2025', based on current nomenclatures. Regardless, AppleTrack and @concept_central have based their designs on MacRumor's earlier disclosure, which we have covered separately.

Unsurprisingly, the iPhone SE 4 retains the core features of many recent iPhones, including flat sides, individual volume buttons and a large pill-shaped power button. Additionally, the device could keep Apple's recognisable notch around for a few more years, with the company phasing it out of all current-generation models. According to MacRumors, Apple will equip the iPhone SE 4 with a 6.1-inch OLED display, matching the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 14. However, there is no suggestion that a 120 Hz ProMotion panel will be headed the way of the next iPhone SE.

Surprisingly, the iPhone SE 4 is said to adopt a single 48 MP primary camera, which AppleTrack and @concept_central have imagined in a modernised iPhone 7 camera housing. Moreover, the next iPhone SE is rumoured to feature an Action Button too, as well as what will be a mandated USB Type-C port. Currently, the iPhone SE 4 is not expected to launch until late 2024 or early 2025, by which point Apple will be deep into the iPhone 16 series.
