iPhone SE 4 design to be even more up-to-date than previously thought: new leak
The iPhone SE is due an update in 2024, with a design that finally leaves the classic 8-series look behind to adopt a blend of cues from a former Apple flagship and its own predecessor instead - according to recent leaks, that is.
The putative successor to the SE 2022 (a device now available for just $254.97 as an Amazon Renewed Premium device) is now linked to CAD renders that combine a frame most like that of a vanilla iPhone 14 with a single rear camera ring. However, according to the well-known leaker Fixed Focus Digital, the "SE4" will resemble the upcoming iPhone 16 from the back instead.
If accurate, that assertion suggests that the next iPhone SE will in fact have dual rear cameras, in a vertical arrangement that (slightly ironically) recalls that of the X.
On that note, it is possible that the device - which now could be dubbed the "iPhone 16 SE" - will compound that impression with the original display notch, whereas the 16 and 16 Plus might be able to distinguish themselves with Dynamic Island screens instead in 2024.
