UGREEN Nexode 100W power bank launches with 20% discount

The latest Nexode-series power bank from UGREEN is a "100W" version of its "145W" sibling, and as such has a signature black and gray exterior finished with a little 7-segment LED status display for its charge level. However, the newer variant is 20,000mAh, as opposed to the 25,000mAh typical capacity of its predecessor.

Therefore, it might be a little lighter and slimmer than its 145W counterpart, and is touted as airline-safe. Nevertheless, it still has the same port layout, which puts USB-C on either side of a single "up to 22.5W" type-A port. One of them still bears the 100W rating for full compatibility with some MacBook Pros, whereas the other drops down to just 30W.

Then again, UGREEN still maintains that these specs allow the Nexode 100W power bank to charge 2 MacBook Airs at once, and by up to 55% in just 30 minutes. The OEM also indicates its use for a wide variety of smartphones, wearables and portable consoles. The power bank also uses its eponymous port as a 65W input, which, while still more or less respectable in 2023, is not that fast compared to some contenders.

Accordingly, the UGREEN Nexode 100W is valued at $79.99 on Amazon - however, it has a coupon for $16 off that price today (December 12, 2023). Meanwhile, the 25,000mAh version currently goes for $129.99, owing to its own -13% deal.
