UGREEN PowerRoam 2200 launches with upgraded PowerZip and U-Turbo technology
The PowerRoam 2200 is the first UGREEN portable power station to be rated for a capacity of 2,048kWh, or roughly double that of its 1200 predecessor. Nevertheless, it is still touted to charge by 0-100% from the grid in just 1.5 hours, thanks to the latest "proprietary PowerZip Technology".
All that charge is delivered via a total of 16 ports or outlets, 6 of which are up-to-2,400W AC sockets. However, UGREEN asserts that the PowerRoam 2200 can emit even more wattage than that: up to 3,500W, in fact, thanks to a U-Turbo 'peak' mode.
All that potential charge is stored in the 2200's LiFePO4 (or LFP) batteries, rated for up to 3,000 recharge cycles, or "6 times more than the industry average". They can also use high-wattage (up to 1,200W) solar panels, although that would increase its charging times somewhat.
The PowerRoam 2200 is also the first UGREEN portable generator to be compatible with matching modular batteries, stacking up with as much as 5 of those to expand its capacity to as much as 12kWh. It is also the first of its line to ship with its own optional trolley, thereby upholding the tagline "Power Anything, Anytime, Anywhere".
The UGREEN PowerRoam 2200 is currently listed on Amazon in the US or the EU for US$1,999 or €1,999.
