IFA 2023 | TCL One-Stop Smart Energy Solution touted as new path to energy independence at home
TCL may be best known for the cutting-edge display technology such as the new devices and prototypes brought to show off during IFA 2023. However, it has also expanded into other areas and appliance categories, such as the latest Free Built-In Refrigerator C521CD and air-conditioning solutions based on its latest FreshIN+ 2.0 Technology also demonstrated at the show floor.
Furthermore, customers may also be able to power the new electronics that they bring into their home with hardware from the same brand, as TCL's Photovoltaic Technology division's global expansion has also been announced at IFA 2023.
This part of the company apparently also makes TCL Residential Energy Storage Systems boasting up-to-date LiFePO4 batteries, although it seems to be coming for the Tesla Powerwall as much as for the growing number of power stations out there with a design that takes up "only 0.15 square meters" of domestic living space.
Once installed - which apparently takes only about 30 minutes - the Energy Storage System can regulate and optimize a home's energy usage in a cost-effective, power-efficient way that also kicks in in the event of a black-out.
Alternatively, the OEM plans to help consumers install or upgrade a solar panel set-up with the TCL One-Stop Smart Energy Solution. It is backed as "exceptionally adaptable to cater to the unique needs of customers", and to even support the company's new Heat Pump for potentially "self-sufficient" HVAC and hot water.
