BLUETTI AC60: A new IP65-rated LFP portable power station with up to 1,200W of power
BLUETTI asserts that the new AC60 is for those who need to bring an extra or emergency power source anywhere, from "dusty deserts to lakesides, in sunshine or rain", based on its "unique" IP65-worthy build. Its supposedly super-durable casing also incorporates a top-mounted handle, which, with a mass of 20.06lb (~9kg), may be all it needs for many users.
The AC60 is rated for a 600W output - however, that can apparently be pushed all the way to 1,200W thanks to BLUETTI's Power Lifting Mode. That is available via 1 of the portable power station's 2 AC outlets for "resistive appliances rated under 1,200W"; alternatively, the generator also supports 12V DC for cars; 1 USB type-C at up to 100W; standard (5V/3A) USB type-A ports and even a 15W wireless charging pad.
The new BLUETTI power station is also rated for 600W Turbo (AC) Charging; alternatively, it can use solar panels with outputs of up to 200W or 12/24V in-car chargers. It will do so using up-to-date LFP (or LiFePO4) batteries, rated to retain their maximal capacity for the first ~3,000 cycles.
All in all, BLUETTI's latest backup generator may not be the biggest of its type out there - however, its capacity can expand by up to 1,612Wh by stacking it with up to 2 B80 modular extendable batteries. The AC60 has been released through the OEM's website starting at US$699.
