Motorola Moto Tab G84 leaks as new Android tablet and Moto Tab G70 successor
Leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore has shared initial details about the Moto Tab G84, not to be confused with the Moto G84 smartphone that Motorola recently released. Writing on Appuals, Ambhore claims that the Moto Tab G84 will serve as a Moto Tab G70 successor, an entry-level option that Motorola introduced over 18 months ago. While it is unclear when the company will replace the Moto Tab G70, Ambhore has published initial Moto Tab G84 marketing images.
Based on these, it appears that Motorola has broadly maintained the Moto Tab G70's design, such as a flat frame and even but not particularly narrow display bezels. Additionally, the new Moto Tab still has a two-tone design with a single rear-facing 8 MP camera positioned in its top right-hand edge. However, Motorola has now combined the tablet's rear-facing lens and LED flash within a comparatively wide camera housing.
Moreover, the Moto Tab G84 has a front-facing camera designed to be used with the table in landscape mode. Elsewhere, Dolby Atmos and JBL logos can be seen, plus cutouts for recharging an active stylus and attaching a keyboard case accessory. Unfortunately, specifications remain unknown for now, nor in which markets the Moto Tab G84 will be available.
