OnePlus has started teasing the release of its next Android tablet. To recap, the company has only launched one tablet so far. Nonetheless, the OnePlus Pad impressed us when we reviewed it earlier this year, in part because of its sturdy aluminium housing, Dimensity 9000 chipset and 144 Hz display.
As expected, the company's next tablet will be the OnePlus Pad Go, the first evidence of which surfaced earlier this month. Not only has OnePlus confirmed the tablet's existence, but it has also shared a promotional image with Digital Trends. Unsurprisingly, the OnePlus Pad Go relies upon the same design language as the regular model, albeit with a slightly tweaked rear design.
Specifically, OnePlus has given the Pad Go a mostly matte back panel. However, its top portion has a brushed metal appearance like the OnePlus Pad. Seemingly, the Pad Go also has a 7:5 aspect ratio, which Digital Trends reports will operate at 2.4K, compared to 2.8K for the OnePlus Pad. Currently, it appears that OnePlus will launch the Pad Go in India first, where it will ship with OxygenOS 13 based on Android 13. The company has not ruled out a global release yet, though.
