Announced earlier today, the latest update for Samsung TV Plus comes with visual and functional changes that aim to streamline content discovery and enhance the user experience. The service is available in 24 countries, and the update targets over 2,500 channels of this ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) service.

Present on Samsung's smart TVs, but also on intelligent home appliances such as smart refrigerators, Samsung TV Plus is a freely available ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) service that has just received a solid update. According to Samsung, the update "makes browsing and viewing content easier and faster" and it covers over 2,500 channels. Right now, Samsung TV Plus is available in no less than 24 countries.

The redesigned home screen includes an overview of the available content, popular titles, and recently watched content. On the left side, it sports new categories such as Live TV, Movies/TV Shows, Music, Kids and Settings, and more.

In addition to the above, various regions get personalized tabs. India gets a News tab with multilingual support, the Music tab hits the US, Australia, and New Zealand, while the Kids tab is available in the US, Europe, Brazil, India, and Mexico.

The interface now comes with larger visual elements to ease the navigation process. The Video on Demand (VOD) content is accessible from the channel guide thanks to the update.

Samsung TV Plus is also available on Samsung Galaxy mobile devices alongside the brand's smart TVs and Family Hub refrigerators mentioned in the beginning.
