Samsung ports its free TV Plus app to newer Galaxy S- and Note-series smartphones
Samsung US has announced that the OEM's TV Plus app is coming to smartphones. This means the 2020 and 2019 Galaxy Note and S flagships will be able to access this service, whereas it had only been available on smart screens prior to this. The in-house streaming service offers over 100 channels of ad-support content.
Samsung TV Plus is one of this OEM's more popular own-brand apps. It offers approximately 135 channels' worth of content for free - albeit with ads and on its smart TVs only. However, this is changing with a new mobile version downloadable from the Galaxy or Google Play Stores.
It will thusly bring a user's shows from this platform to their Android devices. However, this is only rated to work with Samsung smartphones on its launch, and only with a select few at that. The OEM has announced that they are to be of the Galaxy Note 20, Note 10, S20 or S10 series only.
Therefore, owners of the variants in question can download the app and enjoy all its content. At the time of writing, it comes from sources such as PeopleTV, PlayersTV, Bloomberg TV+ and beIN Sports Xtra. It will start to become available on its new platform from September 23, 2020.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
