The Premiere is a new ultra short-throw 4K laser projector range from Samsung
Samsung has unveiled The Premiere, its new series of ultra short throw projectors. The new laser projector comes in two models, the LSP9T which delivers a 130-inch image and the LSP7T that projects a 120-inch image. Both are capable of showing content in 4K Ultra HD but it is the LSP9T that has all the “bells and whistles.”
Samsung says the The Premiere LSP9T is the world’s first HDR10+ certified projector with triple laser technology. One of the reasons it has been able to secure this certification is because it can achieve a peak brightness of 2,800 lumens. Both models also integrate Samsung’s Smart TV platform for providing streaming content from a wide range of providers. They each also sport built-in woofers and feature the company’s Acoustic Beam surround sound technology.
The Premiere projectors join Samsung’s Lifestyle range of products that also includes The Serif and The Frame TVs that are aimed at seamlessly integrating into the design of contemporary living spaces. For example, the design of the new projectors includes a fabric finish around the edges to help make it look like part of the furniture. The Premiere range of projectors is coming soon to markets in the US, Europe, Korea and elsewhere with pricing to be announced.
