Honor Hunter GameBook to launch on September 16 with Comet Lake-H processors, multi-zone RGB lighting and a numeric keypad
Huawei and Honor's first gaming laptop should have already been unveiled, according to Changan Digital King. However, the release of the Honor Hunter is now scheduled for September 16, and the company has published an initial teaser on its Weibo channel. The video has been republished by Sparrows News, which you can watch below.
The video confirms that the device will be running Intel Comet Lake-H processors, presumably the Core i7-10750H. We suspect that Honor will offer the machine with more than one processor from which to choose, though. Additionally, the video implies that Honor has included a mechanical keyboard, but the briefest of glimpses at the keyboard deck suggests that a regular chiclet one will be present instead. At any rate, the keyboard will have four-zone RGB backlighting. A full-sized numeric keypad has been included, too.
Honor has apparently settled on the name "GameBook" for its first gaming laptop, too. The video does not reveal much about the laptop's design, but leaked sketches suggest that it will be angular with a nod towards contemporary sports cars. The Honor Hunter GameBook is believed to have NVIDIA GeForce GPUs too, although it remains unclear whether these will be from the company's GTX 16 or RTX 20 series.
