Leaks confirm the design of the Honor Hunter, Huawei's first gaming laptop
It has been a few weeks since Honor teased its first gaming laptop. Hinted at alongside the Ryzen version of the MagicBook Pro, the President of Honor apparently suggested that the laptop would feature Ryzen 4000-series processors. Now, @RODENT950 has published more information about the gaming laptop on Twitter.
According to several posts today, the laptop will be part of Honor's Hunter range. Honor showcased the Hunter Gaming Router at its MWC replacement event in February, but the device is yet to be released outside of China. @RODENT950 stated that the Hunter gaming laptop will be "aggressively designed", a claim that they accompanied with a teaser image.
Our German-speaking colleagues have gone one better though and found more teasers for the Hunter gaming laptop on Weibo. Posted by a user called "Ant Song", the image shows sketches of the laptop from more angles.
Additionally, it appears that the device has recently received a CCC certification in China. It is unclear when Honor will announce the Hunter gaming laptop, but we would expect the company to launch it in China first before bringing it to more markets. In terms of components, we would expect Honor to equip the device with Ryzen 4000H processors and upwards of an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU.
