Honor Watch GS Pro launched: A rugged smartwatch with a heart rate monitor, GPS and a SpO2 sensor
Honor has launched its first rugged smartwatch, the Watch GS Pro. Aimed at "urban adventurers", the Watch GS Pro features a stainless-steel bezel ring and dial, within which Honor has included a 1.39-inch AMOLED screen. The screen operates at 454 x 454 pixels, yielding a pixel density of 326 PPI.
The smartwatch is water-resistant up to 5 ATM and has a built-in GPS module that also supports GLONASS. A SpO2 monitor is also onboard, as is a heart rate monitor that uses Huawei TruSeen 3.5. The Watch GS Pro can track your sleep too using Huawei TruSleep 2.0 and uses Huawei TruRelax to monitor stress levels.
Honor has incorporated over 100 workout modes, including cycling, skiing, hiking and swimming. The Watch GS Pro features an altitude barometer for mountaineering, too. Honor claims that the Watch GS Pro will last up to 48 hours with GPS on or 100 hours with outdoor workout modes enabled.
The Watch GS Pro will be available to pre-order from September 8 in most European countries, and September 7 in Germany. The smartwatch will arrive in Italy on September 14. Honor has priced the Watch GS Pro at €249.99 in the Eurozone and £249.99 in the UK. The smartwatch will be available in Charcoal Black, Marl White and Camo Blue.
