MWC 2022 | Honor Watch GS 3 launches outside China with a stainless steel case, a SpO2 sensor and 14 days of battery life
Honor has had a busy Mobile World Congress this year, with the company choosing to introduce the Magic 4, Magic 4 Pro and the Watch GS 3. While MWC 2022 is the first time that Honor has showcased the Magic 4 series, it has already revealed the Watch GS 3 in China. According to today's announcement, the Watch GS 3 will be available in the Eurozone for €229; pricing for other markets remains unknown currently.
However, that pricing only applies to the Midnight Black colourway. In comparison, Honor has priced its Classic Gold and Ocean Blue variants at €249, seemingly because they have leather straps rather than silicone ones. Still, all models have identical 1.43-inch AMOLED displays that resolve at 466 x 466 pixels. Additionally, Honor equips the Watch GS 3 with 4 GB of flash storage, 32 MP of RAM and an Apollo 4 SoC.
Purportedly, the Watch GS 3 should last up to 14 days between charges too, although manufacturer's estimates tend to be on the generous side. Moreover, the smartwatch offers 5 ATM water resistance and over 100 workout modes that combine with dual-band GPS, SpO2 monitoring and an 8-channel heart monitor. Unfortunately, Honor claims that it will announce Watch GS 3 availability 'at a later date'.
