Honor unveiled the Watch GS 3 at its Magic 3 series launch event, albeit while leaving many details to the imagination. At the time, the company teased that the wearable has an industry-leading heart rate monitor, apparently an 8-channel PPG sensor that it is yet to provide many details about. Supposedly, this heart rate sensor will be more accurate than conventional ones, and faster too.
Initially, Honor only showed marketing renders of its new smartwatch. However, it has now supplemented these with real-life promotional images that it has shared on Weibo. The Watch GS 3 has a stainless steel body, for reference, which will be available in black, gold or silver. The company has paired these will black, brown and blue watch bands respectively; all are replaceable.
Additionally, the smartwatch has an AMOLED display, two physical buttons and a variety of pre-loaded watch faces. Unfortunately, Honor is still yet to confirm when and where it plans to sell the Watch GS 3. Hopefully, the company provides more details about both, along with pricing, at a launch event next month.
