The Honor Watch GS 3 re-appears in a new offline retail leak
Honor made repeated references to a new Watch GS 3 in the course of launching the Magic 3 premium smartphone range, thereby giving the impression that the wearable might be released at the same time as the flagship Android devices. However, this somehow never panned out, leaving the new device off the market ever since.
Now, however, it seems the OEM is finally ready to release the GS 3. The Weibo leaks channel HuaweiFans has posted photos of the watch snapped in a physical store, possibly near units of the recently-launched 60 and 60 Pro. The new leak shows the wearable from the front and the back, thereby apparently confirming its looks and "industry-first" 8-channel PPG heart rate monitor.
Despite this new features, HuaweiFans has also reportedly learned that the Watch GS 3 will ship without wireless charging, something the Weibo leakster now believes will set the watch at a more reasonable price-point. Then again, Honor has yet to confirm this.
