Honor confirms that it will be bringing 'The Power of Magic' to MWC 2022 in February
Earlier this month, Honor revealed the Magic V, its first foldable smartphone and one of the few released since its split from Huawei. While Honor can sell smartphones outside China without US sanctions, it has not introduced the Magic V elsewhere. However, that could change next month at MWC 2022 in Barcelona.
According to a press release, Honor will attend MWC on February 28, the first day of the four-day conference. The company states that its global launch event will commence at 13:00 CET (12:00 UTC), during which it will bring 'The Power of Magic'. Undoubtedly, Honor will announce a new Magic smartphone, its preferred branding for mobile devices.
Theoretically, Honor could unveil the Magic 3, Magic 3 Pro and the Magic 3 Pro Plus, not just the Magic V. The company is yet to release the Watch GS 3 globally too; a smartwatch released this month in China. Additionally, the release of new smartphones should bring Magic UI 6.0 to global audiences as well. For reference, Honor bases its latest smartphone OS on Android 12, unlike Huawei with EMUI 12.
