Leak reveals Honor Magic4, Magic4 Pro and Magic4 Pro+ specifications with up to four 50 MP cameras
@RODENT950 has shared apparent specifications of the Honor Magic4 series, successors to the Magic3, Magic3 Pro and Magic3 Pro+. As with last year's models, the Magic4 series should arrive with exciting camera hardware, such as four high-resolution sensors in the Magic4 Pro+. Allegedly, Honor has opted for quad 50 MP sensors this time, unlike the single 50 MP camera and triple 64 MP sensors with which it equipped the Magic3 Pro+.
For reference, the reported specifications state that the Magic4 Pro+ has 50 MP primary, ultra-wide-angle, telephoto and monochrome cameras, matching the Magic3 Pro+. Additionally, the specification sheet promises up to 100x digital zoom and a laser autofocus system, mirroring the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Incidentally, the Pixel 6 Pro supports Laser AF too.
By contrast, the Magic4 Pro dispenses with a monochrome camera, while the standard Magic4 only has a 16 MP telephoto camera. Still, the Magic4 Pro should feature the ToF camera from the Magic4 Pro+. Additionally, all models are tipped to have 120 Hz and AMOLED display. However, the trio will operate at different resolutions, contrary to the Magic3 series. Similarly, the Magic4 Pro+ will be the largest in the Magic4 series; all Magic3 series devices had 6.76-inch displays.
It is unclear when Honor will reveal the Magic4 series. According to the specification sheets, the Magic4 will debut with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000, with Honor reserving the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 for the Magic4 Pro and Magic4 Pro+. The trio should launch with Android 12 and Magic UI 6, too.
