The Huawei Watch Fit is a new wearable that bucks the square-face trend with a display that is more rectangular instead. It is also wider than the average fitness tracker, and has an AMOLED panel with a diagonal length of 1.64-inches in general. Now, it seems this OEM's subsidiary, Honor, may also launch its own take on the same somewhat novel form-factor.
A leak to this effect has been spotted by bloggers while scanning a new poster released by this brand. It is found in a Weibo message recently quoted by Honor president George Zhao. This executive may also have been hinting at the new putative wearable by canvassing fans for their preferences for smartwatch face-types.
The material in question is a (very) long-form image promoting Honor's celebration of the Chinese equivalent of Valentine's Day. The image of a Watch Fit-like product is tucked away towards the end of the poster, depicted on one wrist of two linked hands. The other has a device that could be a Honor MagicWatch, a pre-existing series of round-faced smartwatches by the same company.
