Motorola has released a new poster teasing its adoption of Qualcomm's mid-2022 flagship mobile processor refresh, now officially unveiled as the Snapdragon 8+ (or 8 Plus) Gen 1 rather than the 8 Gen 1+ as thought. There is nothing new in that; however, the OEM has made more of an effort to highlight one aspect of this campaign in particular this time.
The Lenovo-owned company's general manager Shen Jin has presented the newer version along with the caption, "We hid an Easter egg in this new Snapdragon 8+ poster, can you spot it?". Now the executive mentions it, what is meant is increasingly clear, and it is found along the bottom of the new graphic in question.
It is in the shape of a broad V that seems to be illuminating the new Qualcomm logo from below, and, thus, might well be intended to signify a new foldable smartphone. This, then, might be the 'Razr 3', although it would seem to have acquired a significant SoC upgrade compared to its 5G predecessor.
Then again, the allegedly upcoming flexible-display device is also linked to additional upgrades, from its cover display to its internal storage options. Therefore, it may well be able to rival its alleged candy-bar counterpart the 'Frontier 22' in terms of specs on its release.
On that note, as the next-gen Razr has now been in the works for some time, it might benefit from a launch date that beats that of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 this year.
