Motorola Razr 3: Display specifications emerge drawing similarities with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3
Ross Young has provided display specifications for the Razr 3, presumed to be Motorola's next foldable smartphone. Allegedly, the next-generation Razr will have larger displays all round than the current Razr 5G, which Motorola introduced in September 2020. For reference, the Razr 5G has a 6.2-inch foldable display, 0.5-inches smaller than the equivalent in the Galaxy Z Flip3. However, the Razr 5G also has a 2.7-inch cover display, 0.8-inches larger than the 1.9-inch one in the Galaxy Z Flip3.
While Young claims that the Galaxy Z Flip4 will have at least a 2-inch cover display, he asserts that the Razr 3 will go even further. Writing on Twitter, Young states that the Razr 3 will have approximately a 3-inch cover display, which Evan Blass has already shown in a leaked hands-on image. Other cover display specifications remain unknown at this stage, though.
Moreover, Young reports that the Razr 3 will have a 6.7-inch foldable display produced by China Star. Ultimately, the Razr 3 could look an awful lot like the Galaxy Z Flip3. By extension, this would apply to the Galaxy Z Flip4, as leaked CAD renders showed earlier this week. Allegedly, the Razr 3 will launch in Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus variants, a huge step up from the Snapdragon 765G in the Razr 5G.
