Motorola has added the Moto G82 5G to its burgeoning roster of Moto G series smartphones for 2022. For reference, the Moto G82 5G joins the Moto G22 and Moto G52, along with the Moto G200 5G that debuted last year. Unsurprisingly, Motorola pre-installs Android 12 on the Moto G82 5G, which is also the case for the Moto G Stylus 5G (2022) and Moto G 5G (2022) in North America.
According to Motorola, the Moto G82 5G relies on the Snapdragon 695 5G, complemented by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Additionally, the handset has a 5,000 mAh battery that it can recharge at 30 W via Motorola's TurboPower charging technology. Moreover, Motorola includes a 6.6-inch AMOLED display that resolves at 2,400 x 1,080 pixels with a 402 PPI pixel density and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Incidentally, Motorola has included the large display within a 160.89 x 74.46 x 7.99 mm chassis that weighs 173 g.
Furthermore, the Moto G82 5G has a 50 MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, OIS and 0.64 μm-wide pixels, plus 8 MP and 2 MP ultra-wide-angle and macro sensors. Meanwhile, Motorola has also equipped the device with a 16 MP front-facing camera that provides an f/2.2 aperture and 1.0 μm-wide pixels. As Motorola's marketing images show, the 16 MP front-facing camera sits behind a centred punch hole that the company has placed at the top of the device's tall display.
Currently, Motorola has listed the Moto G82 5G in multiple Eurozone countries, plus the UK. At launch, the Moto G82 5G retails for between €329.99 and €349.90 in the Eurozone, depending on the country in which you purchase the handset. In comparison, the Moto G82 5G costs £289.99 in the UK. As far as we can tell, all countries receive models with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
