A smartphone with optical image stabilization, an OLED display and long runtimes. In addition, a user-friendly and light design at a classic mid-range price of around US$ 350. Sounds like a good deal, right?
This is precisely what is on offer in Motorola's Moto G82 5G, which has a number of unique special features that set it apart from other smartphones in its price range. For example, it is IP52 certified, namely dust- and splash water resistant.
An OLED screen is no longer an absolute novelty in this price range, but it is not guaranteed either. In addition, the screen in the Moto G82 offers good brightness, as we determined in our review. Furthermore, the 5,000 mAh battery lasts for quite a long time and can be recharged quite quickly with a maximum charging power of 30 watts.
Another highlight is the optional DC dimming support, which reduces the screen's flickering, especially in low brightness, thus enabling long use in everyday life for many users.
The camera system is nothing special for its price range in terms of imaging performance, but it does have a special feature in the form of OIS, which is actually not often available in more expensive devices.
So, after our review, can we recommend purchasing the Motorola Moto G82 5G? Yes, but we don't want to gloss over the weak points either: The biggest point of criticism is a sluggish update supply that is guaranteed for only three years, which is no longer in keeping with the times; Nokia or Samsung have much more to offer here.
Further strengths and weaknesses of Motorola's Moto G82 5G can be found in our detailed review with its numerous benchmarks and results.
