Motorola Moto G62 5G and Moto G82 5G details appear online
While Motorola has the Edge 30, Moto G 5G (2022) and Moto G Stylus 5G (2022) planned for various markets, it has also developed a few other mid-range smartphones. According to Gizmochina and Passionate Geekz, the releases of the Moto G62 5G and Moto G82 5G are near and seemingly in multiple countries too.
As the screenshots below show, Motorola has certified the XT2223-1 and XT2223-2 with the Wi-Fi Alliance that Passionate Geekz alleges are model numbers for the Moto G62 5G. Additionally, the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) in Taiwan has certified the XT2225-1, which it lists as the Moto G82 5G.
Based on these certifications, the Moto G62 5G will launch with Android 12, matching other recent Moto G series refreshes. Reputedly, the Moto G62 5G and Moto G82 5G will both rely on the Snapdragon 695 5G and 8 GB of RAM, small upgrades on the Snapdragon 680 and 6 GB of RAM in the Moto G52. The Moto G82 5G is believed to have a 1,000 mAh smaller battery than the Moto G62 5G though, for some reason. Still, the former is rumoured to land with a 5,000 mAh battery. Unfortunately, release dates for either smartphone have not emerged yet.
