The Moto G22 is one of Motorola's latest smartphones. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G37, which, while new to the market in 2022, lacks 5G connectivity. This makes the phone accessible, however, at ~US$187 on its first release. Now, it is around the same in its latest market of India.
The G22 has once again launched with Android 12 out of the box, which might help its value proposition. Furthermore, Motorola has announced that it supports 20W charging, with the TurboPower 20 power brick that comes in the box, moreover.
By contrast, the same phone can only charge at 15W (or 5V/3A) in Germany and the UK, where it is also available. Then again, the phone has a 128GB internal storage SKU in those countries, which goes unmentioned on its new Indian product pages.
The G22 remains the same in terms of specs otherwise. It can be ordered on April 13, 2022 via Flipkart, which is offering an introductory INR 3,000 (~$40) discount off its normal INR 13,999 (~$186) price on this date.
