The Motorola Moto G52 is a smartphone that has launched with a 90Hz AMOLED display and Android 12 despite its price-tag and tier status. It does have a 4G/LTE-only SoC in 2022, however; although some consumers may not mind from a battery-life perspective. The OEM may be banking on this kind of demand, as it is now rumored to expand its availability to Indian consumers.
The G52 is now said to be an option on this market, or to have been unveiled as such, by the last week of April 2022. Oddly, however, it is slated to have a 6.5-inch display, whereas it debuted in Europe with one of 6.62 inches in diagonal length.
The "new" version of the Moto G52 is also touted as having a "pOLED" panel, which may indicate that the display for this putative variant came from a supplier other than Samsung. The "Indian Moto G52" is expected to remain the same in terms of specs otherwise, however.
