Motorola Moto G 5G 2022 design and specifications leak for North American-bound mid-range smartphone
Specifications and renders of another mid-range Motorola smartphone leaked, just a few weeks after the company released the Moto G22. According to @OnLeaks, the Moto G 5G (2022) will adopt the design language of many other recent Moto G smartphones, eschewing the boxier look of its predecessor.
As @OnLeaks' renders show, this year's Moto G 5G has three rear-facing cameras arranged vertically in Motorola's signature oval camera housing. Predictably, the Moto G 5G 2022 also has a punch-hole front-facing camera coupled with a thick bottom display bezel. Purportedly, the Moto G 5G 2022 will arrive with a 6.6-inch display within a 165.4 x 75.8 x 9.3 mm chassis.

Unfortunately, Nils Ahrensmeier stresses that Motorola has used a 720p panel, likely to minimise costs. Additionally, Ahrensmeier adds that the device utilises a MediaTek Dimensity SoC, 4 GB of RAM and a Samsung ISOCELL JN1 as its primary camera. Incidentally, Motorola will complement the 50 MP primary camera with a 13 MP front-facing sensor and dual 2 MP macro sensors for capturing depth of field and macro information.
Ahrensmeier adds that Motorola will only launch the Moto G 5G 2022 in North America, not in Europe or in Asia. Currently, it is unknown when Motorola will announce the Moto G 5G 2022; the company released the last Moto G 5G in 2020.
