Samsung begins One UI 4.1 rollout with the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3, a major update that brings many camera features from the Galaxy S22 series to older Galaxy smartphones
Samsung has revealed that it is bringing One UI 4.1 to smartphones other than the Galaxy S22 series. In a blog post, Samsung explains that its One UI 4.1 rollout will start with the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3. According to SamMobile, both devices are already eligible for One UI 4.1, but only in Europe and South Korea for the time being.
Unfortunately, Samsung has not confirmed when it will release One UI 4.1 in other markets. However, it states that numerous devices will see the OS update eventually, including the Galaxy Tab S7 FE. Apparently, Samsung plans to upgrade some Galaxy A handsets to One UI 4.1 too, although it has not revealed which ones yet. So far, Samsung has acknowledged that the following devices will receive One UI 4.1:
- Galaxy Fold
- Galaxy Note 10
- Galaxy Note 10 Plus
- Galaxy Note 20
- Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
- Galaxy S10
- Galaxy S10e
- Galaxy S10+
- Galaxy S20
- Galaxy S20+
- Galaxy S20 Ultra
- Galaxy S21
- Galaxy S21+

- Galaxy S21 FE
- Galaxy Tab S7 FE
- Galaxy Z Flip
- Galaxy Z Flip 5G

For some reason, One UI 4.1 will include different camera features, depending on the handset. For example, Samsung will reserve the Expert RAW app for the Galaxy S21 Ultra, while Object Eraser is coming to all One UI 4.1-eligible devices. Not only has Samsung revealed which smartphones it will upgrade to One UI 4.1, it has also showcased some of the update's features.
