Dozens of Xiaomi models are guaranteed to receive the Android 13 update starting later this year when the company begins its rollout. On the other hand, some popular devices from the company look set to miss out, including the Mi 10T and Redmi Note 9 series in their entirety.

A few days ago, a list from a typically reliable source provided some insight into what Xiaomi devices would be eligible for the Android 13 update later in the year. While phones in the Mi 11, Xiaomi 12, and Redmi Note 11 series all make the cut, some rather popular models look set to miss out.

According to Xiaomiui, no phone in the Mi 10 series will receive the Android 13 update. The Mi 10 series phones debuted over two years ago running Android 10 and have received the Android 11 and Android 12 updates. That's an identical story to the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro, both of which debuted in 2020, have received Android 11 and Android 12, and will not be getting Android 13.

Several other phones share a similar fate, including the Redmi K30 series, Poco F2 Pro, Poco M2 Pro, Poco M2, Poco X2, and Mi Note 10 Lite. The Poco X3 is unlikely to receive Android 13 as well, although the popular Poco X3 Pro seems set to. In addition, all the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi 9 series phones don't appear to be eligible either.
