Xiaomi is projected to launch a replacement for its 2021 super-flagship the Mi 11 Ultra soon. The former has been slated to stand out at launch by following both the Mi 11 Ultra and the Mix 4 in having a ceramic rear panel. The reliable leaker Digital Chat Station now hints that Xiaomi had run out of time to add one to the 12 Pro as well, but now has it ready for that phone's successor.
The OEM has often boasted of its ability to optimize the design and texture of the ceramic unibodies found on its current flagships; now, it is slated to unveil the latest advancements in these techniques in the upcoming 13 Pro. Therefore, leaks such as this might impel some buyers to hold off on a purchase such the 12 Ultra launch event roll around, however soon.
