Xiaomi Mijia Desk Lamp 1S Enhanced is compatible with Apple HomeKit

Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Desk Lamp 1S Enhanced. The new product builds on the Mijia Desk Lamp 1S released several years ago, with the same iF Gold award-winning design. Upgrades to the device include full-spectrum LED lamp beads that provide a softer light, similar to sunlight, with up to 520 lm brightness.

Another improvement is the RA95 color rendering, making the light emitted close to natural light so that colors viewed under the lamp are accurate. An optical lens ensures a uniform output, and the gadget will not flicker.

You can use a physical dial on the lamp's base to adjust the light color temperature and brightness. There are four modes available, including reading and kids settings. Focus mode will remind you to take a break with a flashing light, and computer mode reduces the levels of blue light.

Alternatively, you can control the map with Xiao AI or Siri voice commands, thanks to support for the Mijia and Apple HomeKit systems. Plus, the gadget meets China's national A-level standard for a reading and writing work light. You can now buy the Xiaomi Mijia Desk Lamp 1S Enhanced in China for 199 yuan (~US$). It is unclear whether or when the gadget could be available in other markets.
