Sony BRAVIA XR A75K and A90K 4K OLED TVs available for UK pre-order
Sony has announced the pricing and availability of its BRAVIA XR A75K and A90K 4K OLED TVs in the UK. The devices, revealed earlier this year, are available in multiple sizes: the A90K comes in 42-in and 48-in models, and the A75K has 55-in and 65-in variants.
You can now pre-order the A90K in the UK starting at £1,799 (~US$2,268), with shipping expected to begin from July 11th. The price for the A75K starts at £1,999 (~US$2,521), and deliveries are expected after June 15th. Both models will shortly be available to pre-order in other European countries.
As with other TVs in the new BRAVIA lineup, the gadgets use the Cognitive Processor XR alongside the XR OLED Contrast Pro for high image quality, and XR Triluminos Max technology provides a broad color palette for accurate shades. The newly developed BRAVIA CAM is fitted to the TV, enabling gesture controls and video chat functionality.
The gadgets are compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice commands. Plus, the devices support Google Chromecast, Apple AirPlay and Apple HomeKit. Aside from minor differences in design, such as the TV’s stand, the main distinction between the A90K and the A75K are the speakers; the A90K comes with a 2.1 25 W Acoustic Surface Audio+ system, but the A75K comes with 40 W speakers. Sony announced North American pricing and availability earlier this year.
