The Hisense U7H and U8H ULED TVs, revealed earlier this year, are approaching launch. Both models will be available in screen sizes from 55 to 65-in (cm). The 16:9 display has over one billion colors, thanks to Quantum Dot Technology.
The UH7 has 600 nits peak brightness, rising to 1000 nits for the UH8. The gadgets have up to 120 Hz variable refresh rate with support HDR10+ and Dolby Vision technologies. Plus, the devices can upscale content to close to 4K.
The UH7 has built-in 2 x 10 W speakers, while the UH8 has a more extensive system with a 70 W output. Both TVs support Dolby Atmos, and the UH8 supports DTS Virtual X. Game Mode Pro optimizes the TV for minimal input lag and fast response times.
The gadget can detect that you are watching sports and switch to Sports Mode for an “immersive live stadium experience”, designed to provide a sharper picture of moving objects. You can connect to the TVs via HDMI 2.1 eARC, USB and Ethernet ports, plus Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0.
Hisense will release the U7H and U8H TVs in Europe and the US this summer, and they will also reach other markets this year. No specific launch dates, but the prices have been confirmed; the U7H will start at US$799, and the U8H will be priced from US$1,099.
