The Chinese TV manufacturer Hisense may not belong to the big three brands in the television segment, but its products often have a very enticing price-to-performance ratio in comparison to their less-affordable South Korean and Japanese counterparts. Just a week after we reported on a noteworthy deal and cashback promotion for the budget-friendly U6H, the very similarly performing predecessor called the Hisense U6G has now also gone on sale for an even lower price.

In Rtings' comprehensive review, the Hisense U6G received a very decent overall rating of 8 out of 10 possible points. Among other things, the affordable TV was for example praised for excellent native contrast ratio of 5,234 to 1 when activating its local-dimming function. The reviewers were also impressed by the very good black uniformity of the VA panel, while the decent reflection handling and large selection of apps are further strong suits of the Hisense U6G. For just over US$400, this deal is a sensible choice for budget-minded TV buyers who are looking for a large screen that does necessarily need to carry the world-famous Samsung, Sony or LG logo.
