Govee has launched the new Envisual TV Backlight T2 with a dual camera. Envisual Technology delivers real-time colors to match those in each area on the TV screen. The company suggests that using two cameras improves the color-matching accuracy by 40%, capturing 690,000 pixel dots per second.
The device has double the number of light beads compared to the older model, the T1, with a bead density of 60 LEDs per meter (~18 LEDs per foot). This improved RGBIC lighting provides more natural light and vivid colors. Enhanced Music Mode allows you to choose between four settings for your lights: Energetic, Rhythm, Spectrum and Rolling. You can control the T2 TV Backlight with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands. Alternatively, you can customize the lighting via the Govee app and sync the device with up to five other Govee light products.
The gadget will be available in two sizes; the model for 55 to 65-in (~140 to 165 cm) TVs is on sale, but the version for 75 to 85-in (~191 to 216 cm) TVs is currently sold out. The smaller model provides 11.8 ft (~3.5 m) of lighting, and the larger variant 16.4 ft (~5.0 m), each in four sections. Both products come with a camera arm which uses a counterweight mechanism to sit on top of your TV. The Govee Envisual TV Backlight T2 for 55 to 65-in and 75 to 85-in TVs cost US$139.99 and US$159.99, respectively.
