SYRO-Bricks smart 3D lighting with music sync mode is crowdfunding
The SYRO-Bricks smart 3D lighting is crowdfunding on Kickstarter. The gadget from LinkedSparx is a set of hexagonal light panels which you can configure in the design of your choice. The company claims it is the first to bring 3D hexagon lights to the market, thanks to its patent-pending bendable, flexible printed circuit (FPC) connectors and angled fixtures.
Each panel contains a single LED, which LinkedSpark says makes the kit cheaper and more eco-friendly by reducing power consumption compared to multi-LED hexagons. You can connect up to 300 pieces to a single controller, and the lights can be mounted on a wall or freestanding. You can use an accompanying button controller and RF control to adjust the lights. Alternatively, you can pair the SYRO-Bricks to your smartphone and control them with an app. Settings include dynamic preset effects, a wide range of motions and 16 million colors. You can schedule the lights to turn on or off at a particular time. You can also activate one of 16 music modes, which uses a built-in sound sensor to sync the lighting to the audio.
You can currently receive the SYRO-Bricks smart 3D lighting when you pledge HK$622 (~US$79) to the Kickstarter campaign. This price includes a 34% discount off the MSRP of US$139 and the product is due to ship later this month to countries like the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, and Italy. The starter kit includes 16 light bricks, two stands, a controller, RF remote, and accessories to connect and mount the panels.
