Anker Nebula Capsule 3 Laser Projector pre-order campaign launches with US$120 discount
Anker has launched a pre-order campaign for its Nebula Capsule 3 Laser Projector. Customers in the US, UK, Canada and the EU who pay a US$1 (or £1 or CA$1 or €1) deposit for the device before November 13 are eligible to receive US$120 (or £120 or CA$200 or €150) off the MSRP of US$799.99 (or £799.99 or CA$1,099 or €899.99).
The 1080p HD portable projector is the latest in Anker’s Nebula Capsule series, with up to 300 ISO lumens brightness and a 1.2 throw ratio, allowing you to project images up to 120-in (~305 cm) wide. Laser Forge technology enhances the contrast to provide deeper blacks and brighter whites, with support for HDR10, and MEMC technology helps to smooth moving images. Anker claims that automatic keystone correction and focus tools can perfect the image in three seconds. Plus, the 52 Wh battery allows up to 2.5 hours of video playback, with a full recharge taking 3 hours.
The Nebula projector runs on Android 11 TV, allowing you to use various popular apps, Google Assistant voice commands or Chromecast with the device. You can also connect external devices via USB-C, HDMI 2.1 and audio ports or Bluetooth. An 8 W DD+ speaker is built into the gadget, with support for Dolby Audio technology. The compact projector is around the same size as a can, measuring 3.3 x 3.3 x 6.7-in (~83 x 83 x170 mm) and weighing 2.1 lbs (~0.95 kg). The new Anker product will launch on November 14 at the Anker Nebula online store and on Amazon.
