Bluetti EP500Pro Power Station launches in Europe with 5,100 Wh capacity and solar charging capability
The Bluetti EP500Pro Power Station is available for general sale in Europe. The gadget, first released via a Kickstarter campaign in 2021, has a 3,000 W sine wave AC inverter and a 5,100 Wh capacity.
The battery uses Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry for a long lifetime and thermal stability. The airtight aluminium case provides additional safety, which can withstand changes in pressure, punctures, and other impacts. Bluetti claims that you can charge the battery over 6,000 times before its capacity reduces to 80%.
The battery technology makes the gadget lighter, though it weighs 167 lbs (76 kg); four wheels are fitted to the generator to make it easier to transport. The device measures 58 x 3 x 76 cm (~23 x 1 x 30-in), and, according to the company, the gadget will operate in temperatures ranging from -4 to 104°F (-20 to 40°C).
The device can be charged via AC or solar power, with a maximum input of 4000 W from the combined methods. Multiple ports are included on the device, such as three 2,000 W AC outlets, four 100 W USB-A ports and one 100 W USB-C port. There are also two wireless charging pads on the gadget.
You can now buy the Bluetti EP500Pro Solar Generator in Germany for the discounted price of €4,999 (~US$5,347); the current price is 6% lower than the recommended retail price of €5,299 (~US$5,668). The gadget is expected to roll out to other European countries over the summer.
