HPRT MT810 wireless paper-inside portable printer with 203 dpi resolution is crowdfunding
The HPRT MT810 wireless paper-inside portable printer is currently crowdfunding on Indiegogo. The thermal printer can hold a roll of paper inside, meaning you do not need to carry sheets alongside the gadget. The roll also prevents paper jams and allows you to print various sizes.
The thermal paper has three layers, with a stabilizer slowing the ageing of the document. One roll measures 1,637-in (~4,158 cm) long, equivalent to over 200 pieces of A4. The device does not require ink cartridges, which the company suggests reduces maintenance costs by 50% compared to a regular inkjet printer. The printer has a 203 dpi resolution for accurate reproduction.
You can connect to the HPRT MT810 via Bluetooth 5.0, allowing you to send jobs to the printer wirelessly from up to 33 ft (~10 m) away. The gadget is compatible with a range of iOS, Android, macOS and Windows devices. A 2,600 mAh battery provides around four days of battery life on a single charge. The compact gadget measures 280 x 95 x 50 mm (~11.0 x 3.7 x 2.0-in).
You can currently receive the HPRT MT810 wireless paper-inside portable printer when you pledge KH$1,169 (~US$149) to the Indiegogo campaign. The company indicates that production has not yet started, but the item is due to ship in October. The gadget is expected to retail for US$199 in the future.
