Earlier this week, LG confirmed availability for its latest UltraGear gaming monitors in Europe, consisting of the UltraGear 32GQ850, 32GQ950 and 48GQ900. Subsequently, the company has presented the Libero 27BQ70QC, a 27-inch monitor aimed at an entirely different audience than its trio of gaming monitors.
Specifically, the Libero 27BQ70QC would be best placed in an office, whether at home or otherwise. While the Libero 27BQ70QC's panel specifications are nothing special, LG has included some intriguing stand options. On the one hand, the Libero 27BQ70QC can be positioned like a Smart TV without height or tilt support. On the other hand, the Libero 27BQ70QC can be hung on two brackets, as LG's marketing images show. Additionally, the company has included a detachable FHD webcam for conference calls.
According to LG, the Libero 27BQ70QC's built-in software will adapt to any orientation changes. Hence, you should not need to dive into the monitor's OSD or within your device's system settings to switch the display orientation. For reference, the Libero 27BQ70QC resolves at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels with 99% sRGB colour space coverage and HDR10 support. Moreover, the monitor has a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and delivers up to 350 cd/m² of peak brightness.
Predictably, LG has equipped the Libero 27BQ70QC with HDMI and USB Type-C connectivity that can recharge a connected device at up to 65 W via USB Power Delivery. Unfortunately, LG has not confirmed how much the Libero 27BQ70QC will cost. However, all specifications are available to view on LG's website.
